division series

alrighty then... it's october, the division series are about to begin!!!! In the n.l. - we have arizona diamondbacks vs colorodo rockies.... very interesting.. In the a.l. - we have boston redsox vs cleveland indians, yet another interesting turn of events. My picks... i'm hoping the world series will be colorado vs cleveland. But the absolute pleasure that i am recieving from this post season... is the fact that the yankees are out!!!!!! We shall see how my predictions unfold this week.. Good luck everybody!!!!!!

nearing the end of the penant race,,,,,,

ok, so we are winding down the regular season. Unfortunately , my Mariners are slipping behind in the wild card race. Now don't take me wrong...I have not lost all hope in them...I'm just really excited to see how the post season is going to unfold. Anyway, just had to ramble about baseball a little bit...oh, and good luck to everyone in the race, and for those teams that are pretty much out of it, have fun and try to at least be a spoiler!!

lunar eclipse ............

so i got to watch an absolutely clear and unblocked view of the eclipse from my backyard!!! Had my sons stay up to watch it, started around 10:58 p.m. hawaii time. Was totally eclipsed by 11:55 p.m. It had the coolest red / orange glow to it as it was fully eclipsing. I hope all of you had a chance to see it.. it was definately worth staying up late & sitting in a beach chair in my back yard. Good times..............

baseball update

oh yeah... another little tidbit... good luck seattle mariners for the division or wildcard spot!!! if you haven't been watching all season... now is the time!!! my daughter always asks me " why do you like baseball so much?" my response: i just do, for me it's an interesting sport, i think all the statistics and variables is what intrigues me. For those of you who don't already know... I am a seattle mariners fan!!!! i also like the dodgers in the n.l. race. I found that once I understood the game, I can't get enough of it!!!

lunar eclipse ............

so tonight is the lunar eclipse... it supposed to happen around 11:00 p.m.(hawaii time). i guess it wont be as visible again until 2010. hopefully i'll be able to get a few pictures tonight...then i will post them tomorrow... should be pretty cool. For all the rest of you on this side of the world... try to see it... it's just one of those things you should see. tell how it went tomorrow.................. ;-)

...so a month later.....

ya,ya,ya...i know...it's been like a long time since i posted anything. sorry, sometimes you are just busy with life. It's been a hectic month...thankfully, all the kids are back in school!!! There seems to be a quiet calm around during the day.
anyway...soon i will be posting some pics of my new turtles!!! Zero & Flash... I wish there were more exciting things going on in my life, but i pretty much work six days a week, take care of the keikis , watch a baseball game on t.v. when i can, go to the beach on the one day off a have a week. Such is the price of living in paradise........ until next time... don't forget to have your pet spayed or neutered. See ya......

yes...i'm still here....

ok, it's been a real long while since i posted anything. The reason for this is as follows : 1st off...........my f#cking computer broke, oh snap!! Had to get a new motherboard...once it was finally installed, i had to recover and reload windows & all that other crap. So I have been out of touch for a couple of weeks.........it's so nice to be back.
ok, couple things i wanted to say..... i realize its after the fact, but here i go........fourth of the july : yeah, lets celebrate the white man raping and pillaging the land from the indians - woo hoo- also you can celebrate your independence by blowing something up!!! anyway, enough about that....just had to say my piece ...
anyway, now that i'm up and running again, i'll be telling more stories soon...................

trip from hell - part 2

ok...so let me continue. I went to salem...woo hoo.... i swears that place is the armpit of oregon. So I go to my old work...worked there for 5 yrs as the sous chef, then worked there again for another 9 months or so. It's been a little over 2 yrs. since i left salem. Everyone is stoked to see me, the owner's first question to me is..."so when u coming back to work?", "remember... i will always have a space for u here. I'll fire someone if I have to!" Talking to my old chef was great, got to catch up on whats been going on with everyone. Now, let me explain the relationship I have with my "capn'"(thats what we all call him, not chef...but capn') He and I are tight....really tight, but it's not in any type of sexual way...I was his right hand, we talked about everything...so anyway, i tell him what the owner says about me coming back, he laughs and responds with..."I'll fire jeremy(the ex-boyfriend,yeah he works there now, after I left) right now if you're coming back!!!" I thought that was funny. Any way the rest of the week was pretty boring...but let me tell you about the plane ride home. So I get to pdx at like 8 in the morning, my flight leaves at 10, so we're all good. Plane boards on time and everything. All seems well... until about 30 minutes into the flight. Now remember my flight here i had the screaming child 3 rows in front of me...so now I luck out and get the infant 3 rows behind me who starts wailing....again luckily this only lasted about 3 1/2 hrs(again just a 5 1/2 hr flight) So needless to say... I hope I don't have to fly anywhere anytime soon... I hope you enjoyed this tale of my so called journey... trip from hell!! :-)

trip from hell

ok... so I went to Oregon this past week...yay me. The trip absolutely sucked ass!! Let's start with the plane ride over there....so I get on the plane, seems like everythings cool. Next to me is a quiet couple thats not in the mood to make friends, which is just fine by me. So we take off, all is well for about the first twenty minutes.... then it happens. About three rows in front of me is a child about 1 yr. and 1/2 or so...he then begins to wail and scream and fuss all about. Luckily this only lasted for about 4 hours( now remember, my flight is only a little over 5 hrs). I should have known right then & there that not a lot of good was going to come out of this trip. So finally I land about 11 p.m. oregon time. Luckily for me, my ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend came to pick me up in portland... she's driving( like a psycho, i might add), and he's half crocked. Oh, good times I tell ya. I get to the hotel after almost an hour of 20 questions from the ex...exhausted, with a headache from the screaming baby, and all the questions... this story only gets better....think it's going to be at least a two - part blog. I'll leave with this part of my trip, I'll continue it tomorrow.........getting a headache just thinking about it!!!!

yay me....

ok... hooray for me... i got a new monitor today!!!! it's so pretty.....i can actually read the words on the screen now!!! oh yeah... i forgot to mention the other day that i got two...count em, two... red slider turtles!!! I'm gonna take some pics of them and post them soon....very cool!!! aside from that my nerves are killin me today!!!...gotta pack for a trip to oregon..yay me... should be an interesting trip, i'm sure i'll have a great story to tell when i get back....till then...take her easy....and if u can, take her twice!!

ok...so it's been a while...

ok.....so it's been almost a week since i've even had time to go on the computer...let alone jot some notes about life...etc.... ok, here's how my week went..... fucking busy all week with work, of course. It's funny how when u stop to look around sometimes at the people u work with... u realize you are living in a world of idiots & derelicts. Even when i'm driving, i just wonder how these people have enough brain function to walk and chew gum at the same time, let alone drive a car...... I find myself asking " why is everyone so retarted, and why am I surrounded by the dingus squad???" Now I'm not meaning my friends ( ok, well at least not my close friends) just the assorted people u deal with in a day...be it the cashier at the kwiki mart, the greeter at wally world, even the brain dead waiter u get stuck with.... To me multi - tasking is a part of my daily life... for these people, multi - tasking is talking on the phone while smoking a cigarette. I suppose it might be nice to be stupid, everything is handed to you -( even if u don't deserve it) because everyone feels sorry for you because your a dumb dumb......Nah, I'm much happier knowing that I don't have the brain function of a three toed sloth...
Oh snap.... it seems i have lost my mind again, I got to go find it...but i'll be back soon............

Father's Day

so it's father's day today..... i actually remembered before the day!!! Lucky as I am to live in Hawaii, this morning was great!! Started out going to the beach....like many families do on this holiday. It was great to see the huge bbq's going on, the gathering of family and friends, all the keiki's enjoying the water & the sand. It reminded me of when i was a kid......good times!!!
I went to my dad's house for dinner. Nothing fancy, just bbq , some homemade pineapple upside-down cake, and some good conversations. I always enjoy hanging at my pop's house talking bout times when i was kid, and growing up. Plus i get updates on my brothers & sisters( who I don't see often), neices & nephews, and the rest of the clan. It's cool cause i talk to my pops maybe once a month, see him every couple of months, and he only lives about 30 minutes away. He knows, if I don't call... then I'm doing fine, just busy with work etc....
Anyway, please don't take for granted the time u could spend with family... they may drive u nuts, but they're still ur family!!!

Ilike...very kewl site

O.k., so a friend of mine in egypt sends me an invite to ilike... a music website. I check it out...thinking to myself " I hope this isn't some meat market dating bullshit.... after u make a profile of urself, you start choosing artists that u like... it then starts sending u "compatible" people... by the bands u have selected. People with the same tastes as you, and listen to the same type of music. Thankfully, (so far), it doesn't seem 2 be a meat market. I have though, met some very kewl people & made a few sweet friends. We trade mp3's / turn each other on to killer bands/ have good conversations on music etc.... one of these greats is of course JUDE....he kicks sooooo much ass!! he has a plethera of music...and has been kind enough 2 share the love with me & send me stuff i haven't heard yet.... thank u jude!!!! Jinx is another friend I've made on Ilike....he also has a ginormous collection of music...... he's helped a lot in the music search department!!!! Anyway, I've made friends with some very kewl people...and learning and hearing soo much different music now....it's fucking great.......
